This is the completion of project 3, Moving and Viewing. The project was developed from 7 different tasks which all led to the In-term Crit . This project was very interesting, I loved how we actually got to design a site from scratch into anything you wanted to just as long as it referred to a certain concept. ( SPACE,TIME, DISTANCE, MEMORY). I chose the concept space and i decided to RE-USE, RE-INVENT,AND RE-PLACE my site into a floating pontoon bridge that has a wetland feature in the middle. The purpose for the pontoon bridge is so that whether there is a high tide or a low tide the bridge is always accessible for a walk, jog, or just a simple access zone. I included the wetland feature in the middle to bring awareness to the site that the environment is very important and these kinds of features should be built everywhere for the sake of our planet. I figured that the site was perfect for these two features also because of its location. I designed in a very difficult place where there is a lot of pollution and bad weather. In the end though I believe I completed all my expectations for the project and I included everything I first thought about. Our final Crit is very soon and I will soon post more pictures of the official project.
